Artistic educational institution, under the Ministry of Education and Culture. Started in 1983, the school provides basic level music education of a duration of 5-8 years, depending on the age of entry. The school was officially created through Ministerial decree Nº 39/91 of 8 May with the approval of its statutes.

- Music theory
- Piano
- Guitar
- Wind instruments: Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute
- Percurssion
Subjects taught
Sol-fa, choral singing, music theory, musical literature, traditional songs, flute, piano, saxophone, clarinet, drums and guitar.
Duration of courses:
- 8 years - for students 6, 7 and 8 years old
- 5 years – for students from 9- 13 years old
- Special course – no age limitation
Enrolment:
- Students between 6 - 13 years old are subject to entry examination
